A:
A flight of outdoor stone steps leads to one traditionally furnished
apartment (90 sqm) on the upper floor, suitable for 4
people. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed,
and one with twin beds, a bathroom with bath tub/shower/wc, a
living/dining room with open fireplace, and traditional wooden
and stone built in seating. The large kitchenette has a full cooker
and a fridge freezer. From the living/dining area, doors open
to a spacious sun terrace with fabulous views over the huge expanse
of sea, and surrounding mountainsides.
B:
The larger apartment of 120 sqm is on the lower floor, and is
suitable for 6 people. There are three bedrooms,
one with a double bed, and the other two with twin beds, and a
bathroom with bath tub/shower/wc. Due to the hillside position,
the bedroom windows at the back are smaller and higher up than
usual. The spacious living/dining area has an open fireplace,
traditional wooden and stone seating, and a large modern well
equipped kitchenette. A large covered sun terrace is positioned
to one side of the house, overlooking the gardens and across to
the sea.
The tiny
hamlet of Agia Paraskevi, about 300 metres away, consists of a
handful of old restored village houses, a little chapel, and a
children’s playground.
There
is a small taverna/café overlooking the fabulous stretch
of pebble beach of Ligres, which is 1,5 km away, and an excellent
traditional fish taverna right on the sea at Agia Fotia, 5 km
away, with a further taverna, kafenion and a tiny newsagent in
the quaint village square of the village of Kerame, which is 3
km away. A large choice of tavernas and mini markets can be found
in the pretty little town of Spili, at approx. 14 km distance.
Car hire is essential.
