This
very attractive modern villa is perched on the hillside at the edge
of the village of Roussospiti, some 6 km inland from Rethymnon with
its beautiful sandy beach. The lofty position offers very attractive
views over the village and to the sea in the distance.
The villa is 150sqm in size and suitable for 8 people,
with 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, and an additional twin bedded
sleeping gallery and living area on the top floor. All of the bedroom
windows have mousquito nets. There is a private swimming pool (approx.
28sqm) on a lower garden terrace.
Stairs lead to a terrace with barbecue area and patio furniture,
and further to the main entrance of the villa. On this floor there
is the generously sized open plan living/dining area with a dining
table, comfortable seating area with open fireplace, TV, stereo
and a well equipped kitchenette with full electric cooker, dishwasher
and a breakfast bar. One of the double bedrooms is equipped with
TV and telephone, and has access to the front terrace. The other
(twin bedded) bedroom on this floor has its own patio from where
one can reach the pool. There is also a modern bathroom/WC with
corner bath and a utility room with washing machine, on this floor.
On the upper floor there is a further living room with kitchenette,
dining table and a balcony, one double bedroom, an open sleeping
gallery and a further bathroom/WC with a hip bath. There is central
heating, and air conditioning in all bedrooms (at an extra local
charge).
Some tavernas can be found in the village of Roussospiti. Supermarkets,
a wide choice of shops and other amenities can be found in Rethymnon.
Car hire is essential.
